Formed under Susan’s leadership in 1990, The Latremoille Group provides a comprehensive suite of wealth management services to a select group of discerning, financially successful individuals, families, professionals, business owners and foundations. To help clients plan their financial futures and manage their wealth, Susan draws on over 30 years of experience in the investment industry. She is a member of the Investment Managers Consultants Association and Women in Capital Markets, and a long-time participant in the Strategic Coach Program. Susan holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and was previously with Richardson Partners Financial, where she completed a three-year term on the Board of Directors. Her past experience includes RBC Dominion Securities and Merrill Lynch Canada. She is a past member of the Investment Committee at the Toronto Community Foundation. Susan is a graduate of the Family Enterprise Advisors (FEA) program through Sauder Business School.
Susan is the author of the books ‘The Rich Life – Managing Wealth and Purpose’ and ‘It’s Not Just About the Money – The Whole Life Approach to Wealth Management’ and is the co-author of ‘On The Shoulders of Atlas: A Story About Transitioning A Family Owned Business’.
Her speaking engagements include The Private Wealth Management Summit, The Canadian Association of Gift Planners National Conference, The Granite Club Speakers Series, CEO Global Network, Advisor.ca Conference and the 10th Annual Foundation, Endowment and Not for Profit Investment Summit.
Susan’s speaking topics include ‘The Rich Life – Live Well, Give Back and Leave a Legacy’ and ‘The Shoemakers’ Children – Why successful professionals neglect their personal finances’.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys growing vegetables in her rooftop garden at the cottage, studying and teaching yoga and volunteering for the Toronto Foundation.
Anne O’Farrell FCSI
Anne manages portfolios for The Latremoille Group clients and uses her vast industry knowledge and experience to customize portfolios that meet the individual needs of each client. Anne’s focus on the markets allows her to keep very current with market trends and the best investment ideas. Anne has worked in the financial industry since 1986 and has been managing portfolios with The Latremoille Group since 1993. Anne has her Options License and Insurance License, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
Anne resides in Oakville with her husband Joe and they have two grown children, Ryan and Taylor. Anne enjoys golfing, travelling and gardening.
Jody Bent CIM®
As Associate Investment Advisor, Jody is responsible for investment management and portfolio support. She collaborates with external professionals as part of the team’s integrated approach to wealth management. Jody joined the Latremoille Group over 20 years ago. Jody is a Chartered Investment Manager and has Level II Insurance license.
Jody enjoys skiing with her husband and two children, and spending summer vacations at the cottage.
Margery Roden CIM®
Associate Investment Advisor
Margery supports the clients with customized client reporting, day-to-day client service and administration, and compliance. She collaborates with the Tax & Estate Planning group on client wealth planning issues. A member of The Latremoille Group since 2006 Margery is a Chartered Investment Manager and has many years of experience in the successful administration of investment portfolios.
Margery is an avid rower, cyclist, and a keen gardener at her farm in Caledon, where she spends time with her husband and grown children.
As Executive Assistant, Yemmy is responsible for the administrative management of the office, as well as supporting Susan and the team with scheduling, meeting preparation and various projects. Prior to joining The Latremoille Group, Yemmy worked in progressively more senior client and administration roles within the financial services industry.
Yemmy enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures from around the World. She loves to cook and host family and friends in her personal time at home.
Individual Insurance Consultant
Jason’s financial and accounting backgrounds enable him to take a comprehensive approach to advanced Estate and Insurance planning for clients. As an Independent Insurance Broker, he has experience at all levels of the insurance industry.
Jason has worked with Deloitte and Touche, trained as a candidate for the Canadian Olympic Swim Team and holds a CFP designation.
